Job summary

Analogic is seeking a co-op student in electrical or computer engineering to join our engineering team. You will perform software and hardware integration testing for high-power RF amplifiers and electronic assemblies, and you will work with bench instruments and lab equipment.

You will develop, maintain, and debug applications in C++, C#, and Python, contribute to system validation, and help document procedures and results. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's in EE/CE/CS or related field.
• Active co-op program for academic credit.
• Experience programming in C++, C#, Python or similar languages.
• Interest in electronics, embedded systems, and software development.
• Able to work independently and in a collaborative team.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform software and hardware integration testing of high-power RF amplifiers and electronic assemblies.
• Utilize lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and arbitrary function generators.
• Develop, maintain, and debug applications using C#, C/C++, and Python.
• Assist with system validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.
• Implement and troubleshoot communication interfaces and protocols including RS-232, RS-485, EtherCAT, and Bluetooth.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, test procedures, and engineering reports using Microsoft Office tools.
• Use standard hand and power tools to support assembly, testing, and development efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support product development and verification activities.
