Job summary

Analogic Corporation is seeking a motivated student for a co-op internship in Salem, NH. You will perform hardware/software integration testing on high-power RF amplifiers and electronic assemblies, using sophisticated lab equipment and software tools.

You will develop and debug applications in C#, C/C++, and Python, assist with system validation, and help optimize performance while collaborating with a cross-functional engineering team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in EE, CE, or CS or a related field.
• Active participation in a formal co-op education program for academic credit.
• Experience programming in C++, C#, Python or similar languages.
• Strong problem solving and interest in electronics, embedded systems, and software.
• Ability to work independently and in a team within an engineering context.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform software and hardware integration testing of RF amplifiers and assemblies.
• Use lab equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers, meters) for measurements and validation.
• Develop, maintain, and debug applications in C#, C/C++, and Python.
• Assist with system validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Implement and troubleshoot interfaces/protocols including RS-232/RS-485, EtherCAT, Bluetooth.
• Create and maintain technical docs, test procedures, and reports using MS Office.
• Support assembly, testing, and development with standard hand/power tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development.

Job description

• Perform software and hardware integration testing of high-power RF amplifiers and electronic assemblies.
• Utilize laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and arbitrary function generators.
• Develop, maintain, and debug applications using C#, C/C++, and Python.
• Assist with system validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.
• Implement and troubleshoot communication interfaces and protocols including RS-232, RS-485, EtherCAT, and Bluetooth.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, test procedures, and engineering reports using Microsoft Office tools.
• Use standard hand and power tools to support assembly, testing, and development efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support product development and verification activities.

What We Are Looking For

• Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Actively participating in a formal co-op education program for academic credit.

• Strong problem-solving skills and interest in electronics, embedded systems, and software development.
