Job summary

Analogic Corporation is seeking a co-op student in Salem, NH to perform software and hardware integration testing on high-power RF amplifiers and electronic assemblies. You will develop, maintain, and debug applications using C++, C#, and Python, and assist with validation, troubleshooting, and optimization across embedded electronics projects.

You will gain hands-on experience with RF test equipment and cross-functional team collaboration while contributing to real-world product verification

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in EE/CE/CS and enrolled in a co-op for academic credit.
• Experience programming in C++, C#, Python.
• Interest in embedded systems and electronics; detail-oriented and safety-aware.

Responsibilities

• Perform software and hardware integration testing of high-power RF amplifiers and electronic assemblies.
• Develop, maintain, and debug applications using C#, C/C++, and Python.
• Assist with system validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Implement and troubleshoot communication interfaces and protocols including RS-232, RS-485, EtherCAT, and Bluetooth.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, test procedures, and reports using Microsoft Office tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support product development and verification.

Job description

• Perform software and hardware integration testing of high-power RF amplifiers and electronic assemblies.
• Utilize laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and arbitrary function generators.
• Develop, maintain, and debug applications using C#, C/C++, and Python.
• Assist with system validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.
• Implement and troubleshoot communication interfaces and protocols including RS-232, RS-485, EtherCAT, and Bluetooth.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, test procedures, and engineering reports using Microsoft Office tools.
• Use standard hand and power tools to support assembly, testing, and development efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support product development and verification activities.

What We Are Looking For

• Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Actively participating in a formal co-op education program for academic credit.
• Experience with programming in C++, C#, Python, or similar languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and interest in electronics, embedded systems, and software development.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety awareness.
