Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking an RF Systems 3GPP Integration Engineer to join the satellite program in the United States. You will lead bring-up, integration, and debugging of high-throughput wireless systems for state-of-the-art LEO satellites.

Collaborate across PHY, RF design, MAC, and firmware teams; perform 3GPP-based testing; work with vendors and test equipment; contribute scripts and lab work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years experience in L1/L2 or beamforming.
• Experience with RF lab equipment, bring-up, test and integration.
• Experience with verification and integration on FPGA.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.

Responsibilities

• Bring-up, integration, and debugging of PHY/MAC and beamforming radio systems.
• Define 3GPP-based testing for satellite-to-ground networks.
• Collaborate across PHY, RF design, MAC, firmware teams for seamless integration.
• Trade link budget and verify RF line-up for payloads in RF/IF configurations.
