Job summary

Caribou Thunder in Westminster, CO is seeking a Mid-Level Test Engineer to design, validate, and automate tests for RF, software, and firmware systems. You will apply MATLAB and Python to create repeatable test sequences, analyze data, and support cross-functional teams in a fast-paced defense environment.

The role requires 3–5+ years of experience, an active Secret clearance, and strong collaboration across engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
• 3–5+ years in Test Engineering.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Experience with test planning, execution, validation, and reporting.
• MATLAB and/or Python for test automation.
• Experience developing test scripts and automation.
• Ability to analyze test data.
• Experience in RF testing or software/firmware testing.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, scripts, and automated test sequences for RF, software, and firmware systems.
• Use MATLAB and/or Python to automate testing, process data, generate waveforms, and analyze test results.
• Configure and operate RF test equipment, develop automated equipment control, and support RF testing of complex systems.
• Develop software test tools and surrogate modules, support interface testing, and assist with messaging, ICD, interoperability, and cybersecurity testing.
• Document requirements validation, test results, discrepancies, and technical findings while collaborating with engineering teams.
