Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Software Test Engineer to support a defense contract in Westminster, CO. The mission is focused on the development, integration, and qualification of software‑defined RF mission capabilities for next‑generation aircraft systems. This effort modernizes how aircraft sense, identify, and communicate in contested environments by delivering flexible, software‑first solutions that operate on open architectures rather than proprietary hardware. The program includes development and test of two major software capabilities: Monostatic Radar and Identify Friend or Foe – Interrogate (IFF‑I). All software is developed in C++, aligned to prescribed government reference architectures and coding standards. Test and integration span unclassified and classified environments, including Software‑in‑the‑Loop (SIL) and Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) pipelines, culminating in Functional Qualification Testing (FQT). The Software Testing Manager serves as the single management point of contact for the software test workstream. This individual leads an independent test team and owns staffing, onboarding, delivery governance, reporting, risk management, and continuous improvement across the lifecycle of the program.
