Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer - Test Automation to design, develop, and integrate System Test Equipment for complex RF/microwave products. You will support hardware/software design, create data packages, and test circuits from baseband to mmWave in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include a STEM degree and 5+ years in STE, with experience in C/C++, MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python, and RF test equipment. U.S. citizenship and security clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design, development, and integration of STE for complex electrical products, including test software development.
• Experience with RF test equipment and software tools such as those listed (C, C++, MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python, LabWindows/CVI, NI TestStand).

Responsibilities

• Support hardware and software design and equipment selections, develop Special Test Equipment, conduct testing and integration, and support production and post-production phases.
• Create and present technical data packages for program management during design reviews.
• Test high frequency circuits from baseband to millimeter wave.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
• Travel to vendor and subcontractor locations as needed.
