Job summary

Raytheon’s Electronic Warfare Systems in Goleta, CA is seeking a Radio Frequency Production Test Engineer to design, develop, and validate automated test solutions for state‑of‑the‑art EW and radar warning receiver products. In this onsite role you will collaborate with engineering teams to reduce test time, analyze yields and fault data, and create robust test flows using NI LabVIEW and Python.

Onsite Goleta location requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of automated test systems and validation procedures.
• Troubleshoot and provide accurate rework instructions for the product hardware.
• Participate in projects to reduce test time, improve the test process through analysis of predictive metrics of trends, failure modes, and test yields.
• Develop test flows and contribute to test capacity analysis.
• Maintain changes to the test equipment technical data package which includes drawings, test instructions, test position manuals, and system software.
• Assist in non‑routine fault isolation, diagnosis and repair of the product or test equipment.
• Support root cause and corrective action investigations and present findings, utilizing fault trees and knowledge point plans
