Job summary

Skyworks is offering a Summer 2026 Co-op in Irvine, CA, focused on RF experiments and device characterization. You will work with top engineers to design test setups, measure key parameters, and analyze results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The role runs June–December 2027 at our Irvine design center, with hands-on work on piezoelectric BA W/SAW resonators and related data-driven modeling. A strong academic background in engineering and MATLAB/Python is expected.

Qualifications

• PhD student pursuing a relevant engineering field.
• Must be able to work full time for the duration of the program.
• Must be able to work from Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities

• Design, program and execute RF measurements for semiconductors/acoustics devices.
• Perform analysis, extractions and modeling of measured data.
• Summarize extracted analysis and prepare reports for engineers and designers.
• Propose new design approaches for state-of-the-art BAW devices based on physics- and data-driven models.
