Job summary

RTX in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to support RF front-end hardware development and radar system projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional hardware teams to define architecture and assist with packaging, ASICs/FPGAs, and high-density electronics.

You will gain hands-on experience across RF design, testing, and verification while learning from senior engineers in a hands-on, onsite setting.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field and enrolled through internship completion.
• Experience or coursework with electronics and/or electronic lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional hardware engineering teams to develop architecture solutions for airborne radar antenna arrays meeting the highest customer expectations.
• Assist engineers in RF high-density microelectronic packaging, PCB/PWB development, and testing of RF hardware components such as ASICs and FPGAs.
• Support design, development, and testing of RF hardware for software-defined radios, amplifiers, receivers, and data links for various platforms.
• Support testing of RF components, systems, and devices; follow established procedures with program management.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to ensure design objectives are met.
