Job summary

RTX’s Airborne Radar Electronics Design Department is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to support VHDL-based firmware development and hardware integration activities for advanced airborne radar systems. Depending on assignments, this role may involve supporting FPGA development, digital design verification, radar hardware integration, and system-level troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical or related STEM and actively enrolled through internship/co-op.
• Minimum of 60 credit hours by start of internship/co-op.
• Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators, and power supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with design, testing, and validation activities.
• Support lab work, including measurements, test setups, and documentation.
• Contribute to electrical engineering project tasks as assigned.
• Participate in team meetings, reviews, and technical discussions.
• Maintain accurate records and follow established engineering procedures.
