Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Section Leader for the Radar Subsystem Engineering team in Fullerton, CA. The role focuses on leading radar subsystem design, integration, and production support for airborne radar programs, including NASAM Sentinel radar.

The ideal candidate will mentor a team of 15–20 engineers, manage staffing and proposals, and drive execution with EVMS, while collaborating closely with Chief Engineers and Program Managers to meet program objectives in a fast-paced, mission-critical

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 10+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 7+ years.
• Experience with RF Radar subsystem design, test, and integration.
• Experience leading multi-disciplined engineering teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a section of 15–20 engineers and mentor staff.
• Manage staffing plans and drive team development.
• Oversee proposals, Basis of Estimates (BOEs), and cost estimation.
• Monitor program performance using EVMS and prepare PPRs, VARs, and EACs.
• Balance design performance with cost and schedule, ensuring on-time delivery.
