FIRST RF is seeking a self-motivated Production Technician to join our Production team in Boulder, CO. You will produce world-class RF systems and antennas using components and parts, working in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include studying work instructions, assembling components, resolving issues, and maintaining a safe workspace. Minimum one year manufacturing experience and U.S. citizenship are required; hybrid work options may apply.

Qualifications

• Must have U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• High school diploma or FED
• 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Experience using inspection and power tools
• Strong focus on safety compliance, quality, and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Good judgement and decision-making
• Ability to learn and complete training quickly

Responsibilities

• Study work instructions, drawing, travelers, test procedures, and parts lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials to prepare assembly work
• Position parts and subassemblies by using templates, fixtures or test measurement equipment
• Assemble components by examining parts and assemblies for correct fit in addition to fastening parts and subassemblies
• Resolve assembly problems and notify the Quality Assurance team of known issues
• Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Anticipate needed supplies and submit requests for additional supplies from Production Planners
• Document actions by completing production travelers and reworking travelers as required
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks
