Job summary

XP Power in Gloucester, MA is seeking a Production Assembler to join our team. The role focuses on electro-mechanical assembly with attention to detail and following manufacturing procedures.

The position involves assembling PCBAs, cable harnesses, and power supplies, performing fault diagnosis, and collaborating with engineering, quality, and design teams while maintaining Health & Safety and 6S Lean principles.

Qualifications

• Must have soldering experience; one candidate can have just mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, and written procedures in English.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly of RF generators for use in industrial settings.
• Final configuration of externally produced components to meet customer specifications.
• Manufacture PCBAs, cable assemblies, cable harnesses, and power supplies.
• Undertake fault diagnosis with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Share observations and knowledge with others, including manufacturing engineering, quality, and design teams.
• Align with Health and Safety and 6S Lean principles within the manufacturing department.
• Undertake cross-training and provide training to others in the department.
• Work with limited supervision and follow written and verbal instructions.
