Job summary

XP Power in Gloucester, MA is seeking a Production Assembler to join our team. The role involves light electro‑mechanical assembly of moderately high complexity, following manufacturing procedures with careful attention to detail.

Responsibilities include electro‑mechanical assembly of RF generators, PCBAs, cable assemblies, and fault diagnosis for continuous improvement. On-site shifts are 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Kelly benefits overview provided.

Qualifications

• Must have soldering experience; one candidate can have just mechanical assembly experience.
• Knowledge of basic assembly and electro‑mechanical assembly functions.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, and written procedures in English.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in operating machinery such as soldering irons, power screwdrivers, and various hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly of RF generators for use in industrial settings.
• Final configuration of externally produced components to meet customer specifications.
• Manufacture PCBAs, cable assemblies, cable harnesses, and power supplies.
• Undertake fault diagnosis with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Share observations and knowledge with others, including manufacturing engineering, quality, and design teams.
• Align with Health and Safety and 6S Lean principles within the manufacturing department.
• Undertake cross‑training and provide training to others in the department.
• Work with limited supervision and follow written and verbal instructions.
