Job summary

Qorvo, Inc. in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Senior PCB Fabrication Engineer to drive PCB/process development for RF product applications. You will interface with design teams and suppliers, qualify new materials, and support high-volume manufacturing initiatives.

The role requires deep PCB manufacturing knowledge (via drill, Cu plating, surface finishes) and hands-on experience with Altium/KiCAD/Cadence. You will travel to supplier sites as needed and contribute to design-for-manufacturability

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of advanced degree and education in PCB manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Chemistry or Engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Interface between Qorvo design community and worldwide supply base to create roadmaps for future products.
• Develop, qualify, and support clean launch of new PCB material sets, design rules, capabilities, and suppliers.
• Design material and surface finish evaluations using screening tests and DOE to improve RF performance, cost, or size.
• Plan, execute, and monitor complex process and product development projects using program management methodologies.
• Travel to PCB suppliers to provide technical support for technology development, supplier qualification, and problem resolution.
