Job summary

Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH is seeking a PWB Designer to develop multi-layer PCBs for military applications, including RF amplifiers and backplanes. You will design to IPC and military standards and maintain design documentation.

You will collaborate with engineers and fabrication houses, with CAD proficiency in DxDesigner, PADS Power PCB, and Altium. A CAD-focused education path is required, plus CID/CID+ is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires CAD software proficiency and thorough design documentation.
• Two-year CAD-related degree with 5+ years CAD experience or 10+ years high-level CAD experience.
• Familiarity with military standards and IPC PCB standards is a plus.
• CID or CID+ certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design of multi-layer PCBs (2 to 18+ layers) using SMT and through-hole components.
• Create RF, analog, digital, and mixed-signal boards for military applications.
• Design to military and IPC PCB standards and prepare documentation.
• Create/modify package decals to meet design needs.
• Collaborate with electrical/mechanical engineers and fabrication houses.
• Ensure all design documentation is accurate and complete.
