Job summary

Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, is seeking a PWB Designer to create and develop military-grade printed wiring boards, including RF amplifiers, power supplies, digital controllers, and backplanes.

You will design multi-layer PCBs (2–18+ layers), work with SMT and through-hole components, and ensure compliance with MIL-STD and IPC standards. Strong CAD skills and independent teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD-related field required.
• Minimum 5 years CAD experience or 10+ years high-level CAD experience required.
• Familiarity with RF-based systems and military standards are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design of multi-layer PCBs (2 to 18+ layers) double-sided boards.
• Design of RF, analog, digital, and mixed-signal boards.
• Design to military and IPC printed wiring board standards.
• Create and modify package decals to suit design needs.
• Design using SMT and through-hole parts.
• Design using BGA, QFN, and other high-density packages.
• Responsible for all relevant design documentation.
