Job summary

AeroVironment seeks an experienced RF Mission Systems Senior Program Manager to lead the BADGER product line, combining strong leadership with deep engineering know-how and a track record of delivering complex systems. You will coordinate production planning, schedules, budgets, and cross-functional work with Engineering, Operations, and Quality Assurance to ensure on-time, high-quality RF products.

This role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM or Program Management field.
• 8+ years of technical program management experience with budgets of $20M+.
• Experience with schedule, financial and/or technical briefings.
• Knowledge of production planning and scheduling techniques.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal skills.
• Experience with DoD contracting and acquisition processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under time and budget constraints.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Top-Secret SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination & Stakeholder Management: develop plans, schedules, budgets.
• Manage and lead production programs from inception to completion.
• Monitor progress, milestones, deliverables, risks, and mitigations.
• Maintain communication with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate meetings and progress updates with PM Team and IPT Leads.
• Coordinate with Engineering for design-to-manufacturing transitions.
• Monitor production metrics and drive cost reductions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and lessons learned.
• Stay updated on RF systems trends and project management practices.
