The role involves design, assembly, testing, and deployment across long-duration environments. Qualifications include a strong background in microwave engineering, low-noise analog electronics, and experience with Altium/HFSS tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with Microwave focus and 6+ years of related experience.
• Masters in a related discipline with 4+ years of related experience; PhD with 2+ years is also acceptable.
• Expertise in RF resonant tank circuits and low-noise analog electronics; fully capable across the hardware lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop ultralow-noise microwave oscillators and synthesizers for space applications.
• Design and test resonant drivers for ion traps and discharge lamps with compact form factors.
• Advance RF/microwave assemblies for Deep Space Network frequency and time subsystems.
• Lead integration, characterization and field deployment of challenging microwave boards.
