NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, seeks an RF Microwave Engineer III to join the Flight Communications & Tracking Section within the Frequency and Timing Systems Group. You will help develop and implement precision microwave references for DSN, including ultra-low-noise oscillators and high-stability clocks, while supporting RF assemblies and timing systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with Microwave engineering focus and related experience.
• Expertise in development of radiofrequency resonant tank circuits and low noise analog electronics.
• Hands-on knowledge of precision circuits and atomic clock principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop ultralow noise microwave oscillators and synthesizers while reducing size and improving clock performance.
• Develop, test, and troubleshoot RF/microwave assemblies for the DSN Frequency and Time Subsystem.
• Design and test electronic drivers for atomic clocks and related metrology devices.
