NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California seeks a highly experienced RF Microwave Engineer III to join the Frequency and Timing Systems Group. You will develop ultralow-noise microwave oscillators, implement precision timing references, and advance the RF front-end for DSN subsystems.

The role requires hands-on circuit design, familiarity with Altium and HFSS, and the ability to move hardware from concept to flight-ready models while ensuring reliability over years in harsh space

Formación

• Bachelors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with Microwave engineering focus and a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Experience with electrical and electronic design tools such as Altium and HFSS.
• Experience with developing hardware from concept to prototype to engineering model to field deployed/flight model.

Responsabilidades

• Develop ultralow noise and power efficient microwave oscillators and synthesizers; resonant drivers for ion traps and discharge lamps; ultralow noise analog electronics for clocks.
• Support development and maintenance of RF/microwave assemblies for DSN Frequency and Time Subsystem.
• Design, assemble and test electronic drivers for atomic clocks and metrology devices.
