Job summary

TalentHammer seeks an experienced RF Engineer III to lead design and development of RF products for commercial space customers, including oscillators, CPSUs, frequency converters and amplifiers. You will mentor junior engineers and drive design decisions through prototypes and tests.

Requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years in RF/Microwave, deep knowledge of oscillator topologies, RF theory, and hands-on RF test methods. On-site in Camarillo, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in the RF/Microwave industry.
• Demonstrated RF/MW oscillator design knowledge and competence in multiple oscillator topologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex RF products with emphasis on oscillator products.
• Analyze customer requirements and constraints.
• Generate detailed design proposals and provide expert-level trade-off guidance.
• Estimate total costs and lead times for new products.
• Independently complete RF system and circuit design.
• Mentor junior engineers in RF design and analysis.
• Perform RF design reviews and document designs.
