Job summary

Raytheon in El Segundo, CA is seeking an RF & Microwave Engineer II with hands-on experience in RF/microwave design and testing, and automation programming, to join the Airborne Radar Electronics Receiver/Exciter Hardware Design Group. The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, at least two years in RF/Microwave, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.

U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM field.
• Minimum 2 years of RF/Microwave experience.
• Experience with RF/Microwave software tools (ADS, AWR, Sonnet, HFSS, AutoCAD).
• Experience with high frequency circuits from baseband to millimeter wave.
• Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design and test Microwave RF circuits, RFAs, MICs, IMAs, CCAs and production support.
• Support hardware/software design and equipment selections; develop test equipment.
• Create and present technical data for program management and reviews.
• Contribute through design reviews and handover from development to production.
