Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. in Syracuse, NY is seeking an RF/Microwave Engineer II to develop and verify RF/microwave components and assemblies.

You will work on proposals, design studies, and test procedures in a cross-functional team environment. The role requires a strong microwave theory background, experience with HFSS, AutoCAD, and circuit simulation tools, plus the ability to communicate findings clearly and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of microwave theory and transforming concepts into producible designs.
• Ability to design experiments, analyze data and solve problems systematically.
• Strong written and verbal communication for design reviews and customer talks.
• Must be able to work in a multi-disciplinary team and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer specs and assist in proposal and development efforts.
• Estimate design effort timeframes and ensure schedules are met.
• Work with interns and test personnel on program tasks and procedures.
• Design and evaluate components using layout and simulation tools.
• Prepare presentations for internal and customer design reviews and provide results.
