Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking motivated interns to support our RF/microwave engineering team in Syracuse, NY.

Under direct supervision you will design and simulate RF components and circuits, gain knowledge in RF design, manufacturing, and test of microwave products, and assist with data reduction and presentations for gated design reviews. You will work with test engineers and technicians on program tasks, develop test procedures, understand manufacturing limitations, and correlate

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a BS/MS/Ph.D. EE or Computer program.
Strong physics and mathematics courseload.
Electromagnetics coursework preferred.
3D modelling experience desired.

Responsibilities

Work with interns, test engineering, and engineering technicians on program tasks including test procedure development, test station development and data reduction software.
Perform review before design release.
Prepare presentations for gated design reviews.
Design and evaluate test circuits.
Understand manufacturing approach and limitations.
Design and evaluate components using design and layout tools; follow standard design process.
Provide nominal simulation results along with tolerances analysis.
Correlate expected performance with test results.
Perform data reduction and present results clearly.
Support MRB (Material Review Board) process.
