Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. invites applications for a Summer 2027 RF/microwave internship in Syracuse, NY. Under supervision, you will design and simulate RF components, analyze data, and assist with test procedures and production support.

You will gain hands-on experience with HFSS, AutoCAD, and circuit modeling tools, while collaborating with RF engineers on theory and practical realizations. A strong math/physics background and 3D modelling are desirable.

Qualifications

• Majoring in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Strong physics and mathematics course load.
• Electromagnetics coursework preferred.
• 3D modelling experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Work independently or in a team environment.
• Develop test procedures, test stations and data reduction software.
• Review designs before release.
• Prepare presentations for gated design reviews.
• Design and evaluate test circuits.
• Understand manufacturing approach and limitations.
• Ensure project schedules are met.
• Collaborate with RF engineering on microwave component theory and realization.
• Design and evaluate components using design tools; follow standard processes.
• Provide nominal simulations with tolerance analysis.
• Correlate predicted performance with test results.
• Perform data reduction and present results clearly.
• Support designs in production.
• Support MRB process.
