Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, invites a college intern to join our RF engineering test teams in the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) at Andover, MA. This hands-on role offers exposure to GaAs and GaN devices and MMICs.

You will perform measurements, assemble test systems, and use software to control equipment and plot results, while learning RF/microwave techniques and instrumentation such as PNAs, VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and LabVIEW/Python tools.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major.
• Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF/microwave/millimeter-wave measurements on GaAs and GaN devices, modules and MMICs (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits)
• Perform fixtured and on-wafer probe measurements
• Assemble RF/microwave/millimeter-wave test systems
• Use software to control test equipment and plot test results
