Job summary

RTX in El Segundo, CA is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to support ongoing engineering activities in RF/microwave areas. This role is ideal for a student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering who has completed foundational coursework and is ready to gain hands-on experience.

You will assist with design, testing, and documentation, participate in reviews, and learn to use lab equipment, with potential for full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Completed minimum junior-level Electrical Engineering coursework.
• RF and microwave coursework and lab experience preferred.
• Experience using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators, power supplies).

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with design, testing, and validation activities.
• Support lab work, including measurements, test setups, and documentation.
• Contribute to electrical engineering project tasks as assigned.
• Participate in team meetings, reviews, and technical discussions.
• Maintain accurate records and follow established engineering procedures.
