Job summary

Communications & Power Industries is seeking a hands-on Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will build, test, troubleshoot, and rework complex electro-mechanical assemblies while ensuring products meet quality and performance standards. Qualifications

Typically requires an A.A. degree or equivalent technical training, or 3–5 years related experience.
Ability to use multimeters, oscilloscopes and other test equipment.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot data deviations or defects.
Excellent problem solving and proficient computer skills.
Team oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Operates equipment to tune, test and troubleshoot products or equipment from schematics and drawings.
Uses predefined methods and setups to test equipment and makes necessary adjustments.
Recommends changes to improve operation or quality and implements adjustments.
Conducts engineering or production tests and reports data in prescribed format.
Performs analysis of rejected or in-process microwave tubes in support of engineering and manufacturing.
Provides technical assistance as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
