Job summary

Trans-Tech is seeking an Equipment Engineering/Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment. You will dismantle, adjust, repair, and reassemble machinery following blueprints, manuals, and drawings.

Use diagnostic tools to verify operation and support equipment rebuilds as needed. The role requires PLC/HMI familiarity, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and upholding safety while maintaining production flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus technical school or military/electrical engineering tech training.
• Capable of working in ambient temperatures 85–110°F.
• Able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and controllers for temperature, motors, and automation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and OEM manuals; interpret process sequences.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing processes.
• Disassemble, repair, reassemble, and adjust equipment per layouts and manuals.
• Perform checkouts with test and diagnostic equipment; rebuild equipment as needed.
• May implement equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.
