Join our RF/Microwave Engineering team at Raytheon and contribute to mission-critical technologies that protect domestic and international allies. In this role, you will help design, develop, test, and manufacture cutting-edge compound semiconductor devices, microwave/millimeter-wave integrated circuits (MMICs), phased array hardware, and high-performance modules for advanced defense applications. You will support premier radar and sensing programs—such as Global Patriot Solutions and Early Warning Systems—collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary teams across all stages of integration and hardware verification.
Perform fixtured and on-wafer probe measurements, characterization, and assembly of RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave test setups. Design, simulate, and analyze RF/microwave components, MMICs, and phased array module hardware. Execute component-level and system-level integration and testing for digital, analog, and RF assemblies. Utilize automated test instrumentation and software (e.g., Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW) to control measurement systems, capture data, and evaluate test results. Characterize devices using advanced laboratory equipment, including Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), Spectrum Analyzers (RSAs), and Performance Network Analyzers (PNAs). Conduct circuit simulations, obsolescence trade assessments, hardware troubleshooting, and failure investigations to resolve performance issues. Partner with systems, quality assurance, reliability, and manufacturing personnel to develop robust test solutions and optimize production workflows.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
