Honeywell Aerospace in Colorado Springs seeks a Chief Engineer focused on RF and microwave design, covering receiver, transmitter, and frequency synthesizer domains from S-band to K-band with MIMO. You will oversee NPI/BTI, DMS efforts, and full product life cycle as RF SME, reporting to the Sr.

Director of Engineering, Missiles and Sensors. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive RF roadmaps, and ensure compliance with customer needs and regulatory requirements, including certification

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics or Systems Engineering field.
• 15 years of RF product development experience.
• US Citizens due to export controls.
• Active security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF design reviews and provide domain approval for TRL6 exit, PDR & CDRs to the product chief.
• Oversee RF product qualification plans and test procedures (QTP).
• Guide RF design, modeling, and verification approaches for new products.
• Collaborate across Mechanical, Test, Manufacturing, and Process Engineering teams throughout the life cycle.
• Mentor RF engineers and develop succession plans.
