Job summary

Mithril Technologies in the Greater Boston area seeks a Chief RF Engineer for Space Radar. You will own the technical direction and performance of radar and RF systems, delivering programs on cost and schedule while serving as principal architect and technical program lead.

You will shape requirements with customers, mentor the RF/hardware team, and set engineering standards. A proven track record shipping fielded hardware and US person with clearance readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Principal or architect level RF depth in radar systems (ground, airborne, naval or spaceborne).
• Architected radar/RF hardware programs from end to end (SAR, AESA, phased arrays, EW).
• Proven program management: led a program or IPT to cost and schedule, owning risk and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Own radar and RF system architecture end-to-end, including budgets, waveform, and RF performance.
• Run programs to cost and schedule; manage technical risk and vendors across mechanical, electrical, and software.
• Engage upstream of the spec; shape requirements; work directly with customers.
• Grow and mentor the RF and hardware engineering team; set standards and review practices.
