Job summary

Raytheon in El Segundo, CA, is seeking a RF/Microwave Antenna Engineer within the Airborne Radar Electronics Design Hardware Engineering directorate. This on-site role requires DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

You will design and analyze circulators, radiators, filters, and passive devices for phased array antennas, perform verification and testing, and present technical information to peers and leadership when required. Relocation is eligible.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Coursework or project experience involving antenna theory or RF/microwave component design.
• Ability to read technical drawings or schematics is a plus.
• Hands-on lab experience with RF test equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with RF simulation tools like CST or HFSS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of circulators, radiators, filters, and passive components for phased array antennas.
• Perform design analysis, verification, troubleshooting, and testing of RF/microwave sub-components.
• Present technical information to peers and program leadership when required.
