Job summary

RTX is seeking a engineer for onsite work in McKinney, TX to interface with suppliers, engineering, and leadership to drive cost reductions and defect mitigation using statistical methods.

You will gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment with RF microelectronics (Fire Control AESAs, EW, SATCOM), and learn processes and equipment used to assemble hardware, with focus on MIL-STD-883, J-STD-001H, and AS9100 standards.

Qualifications

• Requires troubleshooting to establish root cause corrective action.
• Experience driving continuous improvement via Six Sigma methods.
• Experience supporting development builds in a clean room environment.
• Must have ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Interface with internal and external suppliers, engineering, and program leadership to develop cost reduction, mitigate defects, and promote design choices via statistics.
• Gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment with RF microelectronics (Fire Control AESAs, EW, SATCOM).
