Job summary

iRF Solutions, an Amphenol company, is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Sparks, MD. This hands-on role inspects PCB assemblies, SMT components, and RF products to ensure compliance with internal and customer standards.

It involves rework, documentation, and ESD-safe handling in a manufacturing setting. Candidates should have a High School Diploma (or an Associates with relevant experience), IPC- J-STD-001/ IPC-7711/7721 certification or ability to obtain, and EPICOR ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on PCB inspection and rework experience.
• Knowledge of ESD handling and IPC standards.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and schematics.
• Experience using EPICOR ERP system is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of PCB assemblies and RF products.
• Inspect solder quality, component placement, and workmanship.
• Conduct board-level rework using IPC standards.
• Maintain ESD-safe practices in production.
• Document nonconformances and communicate with Engineering/Operations.
