Job summary

Microwave Products Group in Salisbury, MD is seeking a manufacturing coordinator to align production with multiple functions and optimize resource use. You will drive schedules, assign shifts, monitor progress, and resolve issues to keep delivery commitments.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and cost control while guiding process planning and staff development in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Onsite with strong total rewards and benefits.

Qualifications

• AA or BS degree in Business Administration with 1 - 3 years progressive manufacturing experience OR 5+ years in a manufacturing setting with increased progressive responsibility.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, general financial knowledge and experience, legislative safety requirements, and computer skills are required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and present information to employees and management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the manufacturing activities with all other functions to obtain optimum production and utilization of resources.
• Ensures production plans are met by coordinating requirements with Master Scheduler, Procurement, Material Planning, Engineering, Quality and Sales.
• Completes production plan by establishing priorities, scheduling activities, shifts and employees; monitoring progress; revising schedules and resolving problems.
• Maintains production and quality standards to meet cost, quality, and delivery commitments; guides development of manufacturing process plans.
• Maintains manufacturing staff by planning, coaching, and counseling; ensuring employee safety through observations and training.
