Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the RF-ITV program from Fort Irwin, California. The FSE will maintain RF-ITV infrastructure, support military customers, and perform field missions with heavy travel, up to 75% within CONUS, and possibly OCONUS as needed.

The role requires troubleshooting hardware, software, and networks and working directly with DoD customers. Must have an active Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant experience.
• Active Secret clearance; US citizenship.
• Willingness for 75% travel within CONUS.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software independently.
• DoD IAT II certification or current equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Independently maintain RF-ITV infrastructure and sustain 97% Operational Readiness.
• Conduct site surveys, installations, upgrades, repairs, and training; complete gov reports.
• Serve as RF-ITV SME for military orgs; provide training and briefings.
• Install, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot RF-ITV hardware/software and related tools.
• Engage with DoD customers to improve RF-ITV usage and infrastructure.
• Diagnose hardware, software, network, and RFID issues using program tools.
• Respond to outages per SOPs; document actions and escalate as needed.
• Manage lifecycle of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
• Share new technical solutions across RF-ITV team.
