Job summary

Continental Electronics Corporation is seeking a Field Service Installation Specialist to install, test and service state-of-the-art RF Transmitter Systems and support equipment. The role involves extensive travel, including overseas locations, with up to 75% travel.

You will assemble, align, calibrate and troubleshoot complex electronic systems, interpret schematics, and communicate with engineering teams. A DoD Secret Clearance is required; AutoCAD proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Five years of related assembly experience.
• Thorough knowledge of assembly techniques and tools.
• Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Active DoD issued Secret Clearance.
• Precise workmanship with attention to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Performs difficult electronic or mechanical assembly operations in test or at a remote site environment.
• Performs all tasks required in the assembly and installation processes from start to finish.
• Interprets schematics, engineering drawings and wire lists; communicates with Engineering and Mechanical Design as needed.
• Assembles equipment, aligns components, calibrates electro/mechanical portions of complex equipment.
• Upholds company values and reports quality issues for corrective action.
