Job summary

Ambrell Induction Heating Solutions is seeking a field service/repair technician to perform system tests, calibrations, and repairs on induction heating equipment. The role covers in-house and on-site testing across current and legacy products, with lossless data recording and rigorous test procedures.

The position also includes customer-facing classroom and hands-on training, travel as needed, and documentation of test and discrepancy reports.

Qualifications

• AAS in electronics or related field is required.
• Ability to read and understand schematic wiring diagrams, test procedures, water flow diagrams and layout & installation drawings (CAD drawings).
• Ability to troubleshoot to the component level is a plus.
• Good organizational skills; paperwork must be complete, prompt and accurate.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Perform system test, calibration and repair of Ambrell induction heating systems.
• Test production assemblies and units to ensure proper operation per test criteria and record data.
• In-house testing of Ambrell equipment across current and legacy lines, including setup and testing.
• Provide classroom and hands-on equipment training for customers.
• Complete test reports and discrepancy reports.
