Job summary

Ajax Tocco Magnethermic Corp. seeks a Field Service Engineer – High Frequency to install, repair, and maintain water-cooled high-frequency induction heating and melting systems at client sites. The role involves heavy travel, training peers, and documenting service work.

Applicants should have an associate degree in electronics or related military electronics experience, and proficiency with test equipment and blueprints. Travel and a valid US passport are expected.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics Engineering, Electronics Technology, or applicable military experience.
• Familiarity with electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, Hi-pots, frequency generators.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand electronic controls and circuits.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain high frequency induction heating and melting systems at customer sites.
• Travel to customer facilities as required (approximately 70%).
• Complete service reports, time and expense documentation after each assignment.
• Train less experienced personnel and assist in documentation.
• Provide customers training and support Service Department staff as needed.
