Job summary

Skyworks invites engineering students to a 2027 Summer/Fall co-op to gain hands-on experience developing RF front‑end modules and collaborating with seasoned engineers across the organization.

You will design RF filters for multi-chip modules, perform simulations with HFSS, ADS, and other tools, and contribute to real-world projects while exploring future full-time opportunities at Skyworks.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. program in Electrical/Electronics RF engineering.
• Available to work onsite full-time (40 hours/week) from June/July through December 2027.
• Broad understanding of RF and microwave components and performance characterization.
• Strong knowledge of electromagnetic modeling and RF simulation tools.
• Experience with Python or MATLAB/other programming for data analysis and automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to design and develop RF filters for multi-chip module applications.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve design efficiency.
• Design BAW- and SAW-based duplexers, quadplexers for handset applications.
• Perform electromagnetic modeling and simulation using industry tools.
• Integrate filters, duplexers, RF switches to support carrier aggregation.
• Design evaluation boards and RF modules for optimal performance.
• Present technical findings during design reviews.
• Assemble, characterize, de-embed, and evaluate RF filters and modules.
