RTX Goleta is seeking a Manager, Manufacturing Engineering Operations to lead a multidisciplinary team focused on the compliant, efficient production and testing of advanced EW hardware. You will partner across Operations, Quality, and Design Engineering to optimize cost, quality, safety and schedule.

The role demands strong manufacturing/RF test expertise, people leadership, and the ability to manage complex projects and data-driven decisions in a dynamic environment.

Competenze

• Requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience in manufacturing process engineering or production test engineering.
• Experience leading teams or cross-functional technical groups.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specs.
• Strong knowledge of MRP and shop floor systems and non-conformance processes.
• Knowledge of EW/RF systems or complex electronics manufacturing.
• Proven ability to drive data-driven decisions with SPC and yield metrics.
• Experience with test automation tools (LabVIEW, TestStand, Python).
• Excellent communication skills for senior leadership.
• Adaptive and capable of leading through changing priorities.

Mansioni

• Lead and mentor a team of Manufacturing Engineers and RF Production Test Engineers.
• Oversee daily engineering support across multiple production areas to ensure compliant builds and tests.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Control, and Design Engineering to improve factory performance.
• Ensure engineering processes and data packages are accurate and compliant with requirements.
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and yield improvement initiatives.
• Drive standardization, automation, and modernization of manufacturing and test processes.
• Support new product introductions and transition-to-build activities.
• Champion safety initiatives including job hazard analysis and ergonomics.
• Develop staffing plans and align priorities with factory goals.
• Provide clear leadership communication on performance and risks.
• Engage with customers and programs for risk mitigation and metrics.
