Job summary

Leonardo DRS in Maryland is seeking an engineer to design, build, and test cutting-edge analog and mixed-signal RF devices such as amplifiers and ADCs. You will contribute to RF requirements analysis, definition, and management. The role involves supervising engineers, managing budgets and schedules, and collaborating with customers on proposals while upholding the company’s values and security requirements.

U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience is required.
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of engineers on an activity and completion of activity on time and budget.
• Ability to supervise a technical group independently.
• Manage budget, cost, and schedule input for design assignments.
• Drive the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirements.
• Communicate clearly with company personnel and the customer as required.
• Participate in preparation of proposals.
• Supervise and direct the work of others as assigned.
• Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
• Attend appropriate engineering, customer, or business meetings.
• Manage / supervise a team of engineers.
• Other duties as assigned.
