Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a motivated RF Engineering Intern for May–August 2027 in Peachtree Corners, GA. You will design RF and digital hardware, develop embedded software, and perform RF measurements.

You’ll work under senior engineers to support the RF MMIC product line and gain experience across design, testing, and packaging stages. The role emphasizes independent project work, CAD design tools (Altium/Cadence), and learning in a fast-paced aerospace/defense environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
• GPA of 3.1 or higher required; transcripts may be requested.
• Experience with board-level, mixed signal design.
• Experience with programmable digital logic devices (FPGAs/PLDs).
• Experience with PCB design using CAD tools (Altium or Cadence).
• Ability to independently perform RF measurements using lab equipment (VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator).

Responsibilities

• Design RF and digital hardware solutions using MMIC components.
• Use CAD tools to design PCBs and packaging for evals and modules.
• Develop embedded software/firmware for RF components.
• Conduct manual and automated RF performance tests.
• Provide engineering support for existing products under senior engineers.
