Job summary

CesiumAstro seeks an RF Engineer II to advance the design, development, integration, and testing of RF systems for satellites and aerospace platforms. You will collaborate with RF, antenna, electrical, mechanical, and systems teams to ensure RF performance and reliability.

The role involves performing RF analyses, validations, and troubleshooting from concept through qualification, contributing to design reviews and documentation, and maintaining high engineering standards in a startup-like

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 2+ years of industry experience in RF design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CST and ADS, and EDA tools such as Altium.
• Hands-on experience with vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and development of RF circuits, transceivers, receivers, amplifiers, filters, and microwave components.
• Perform RF analyses, simulations, link-budget calculations, impedance matching, and frequency planning.
• Review RF specifications and documentation to support design readiness.
• Conduct RF verification, qualification, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
• Analyze measurements and simulations to identify trends and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with RF, antenna, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and systems teams.
• Develop engineering reports, simulation documentation, RF measurement reports, and change documentation.
• Participate in design reviews, investigations, and product integration.
