Job summary

Mann Wireless is seeking an RF Engineer to contribute across the spectrum from business development to design, estimating, and proposal development. You will be on the ground at job sites in the Albany/NY region and operate from our NY office, conducting site surveys and engaging with customers to design systems and develop quotes.

You will also manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, with occasional remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or a related Engineering degree or a Construction Management degree with some relevant coursework or experience.
• Demonstrated experience and aptitude (work or hobby) related to building things- taking things apart and putting them together. Experience using hand tools.
• Ability to research technical issues and to develop accurate conclusions.
• Ability to interpret manuals and to troubleshoot equipment.
• Must be able to work effectively within a diverse workforce including engineers, project managers, skilled craft workers, consultants, customers, and regulatory agency personnel.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate complex issues with customers, peers, managers, and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and interface with customers.
• Design systems and develop quotes and proposals.
• Perform project management, scheduling, and deliverables tracking.
• Assist with installations and, at times, complete installations independently.
• Drive safety, quality, and customer satisfaction on projects.
