Job summary

Woodsong Technologies, LLC is seeking an RF Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and test RF system solutions for prototype deployments. The role requires hands-on bench work across low-power RF systems, power amplifiers, cellular and WiFi tech, antennas, and RF test equipment, with modeling and simulation tools to support RF propagation analyses.

The candidate should hold a BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and possess extensive experience (8+ years) in RF engineering, system

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar technical major with eight years’ RF engineering experience.
• Experience with designing lower-power RF systems, power amplifiers, cellular and WiFi technology, antennas, RF propagation, and RF test equipment.
• Experience with selecting, developing, and using analysis tools and performing performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and test operational prototype RF system solutions.
• Provide hands-on RF design bench work for lower-power RF systems, power amplifiers, antennas, and related technologies using modeling and simulation tools.

Description

This candidate be expected to provide design, development, integration, and testing of operational prototype RF system solutions. Additionally, the candidate is expected to provide hands‑on experience doing "design-bench-deploy" RF design in lower-power RF systems, power amplifiers, cellular and WiFi technology, antennas, RF test equipment, and RF propagation using modeling and simulation tools.

Required Skills And Education, Including But Not Limited To

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar technical major from an accredited college or university and eight (8) years of experience as an RF engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Experience with designing lower-power RF systems, power amplifiers, cellular and WiFi technology, antennas, RF propagation, and RF test equipment
• Experience with selecting, developing, and using analysis tools
• Planning and executing performance analysis
• Integrating and testing RF systems
• Developing RF system engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, and Requirements Specifications
• Excellent communication skills with team and clients (both written and verbal communications)
• Team-based collaborative abilities
• Resourceful in terms of problem solving and troubleshooting
