Job summary

VectorWave in the Greater Boston area is hiring a RF embedded firmware engineer to design and develop programmable systems for the APU. You will collaborate with RF hardware and ML engineers to enable programmable signal processing and AI functionalities for wireless edge compute.

Your work involves integrating RF components, memory, and MPUs/SoCs, and ensuring subsystem interoperability across teams. A BS in a related engineering field is required, with strong RF and analog design experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Experience interfacing with ADCs/DACs and on-board memory.
• Experience programming MPUs/SoCs/edge FPGAs or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design subsystems for the APU's programmable edge compute.
• Choose components and design circuits integrating RF, memory, and microprocessors.
• Program the control scheme and interface for the programmable APU subsystem.
• Evaluate performance against internal and customer KPIs.
• Collaborate with RF, ML, and system engineers for inter-system compatibility.
